So it turns out that I got a Silver Auddy award for the song “time to get my thing together”. From Uplaya:

these tracks contain new mixes and vocal work.  The song order may change as time goes on, I’m also going to let them congeal and ferment for a little while to make sure things are the way they should be….it’s been a long process folks.  happy easter!

today I finished cleaning up the copyrights to the tunes. I’ve been reworking some vocal parts these past couple weeks and it’s sounding pretty good (if I do say so myself).  I’ve also swapped out a tune or two here and there and made some cuts, shaping the debut to be around 9 tunes at just over 30 mins.  It should be noted that although this will be the debut, I’ve archived about 2 albums worth of songs that have fallen by the wayside, chalked up to research and development (and that’s not including synth or piano type things I’ve done).  Newer mixes and vocals will be posted in the next couple weeks.  Stay tuned for updates.

I’ve been diligently re-working some vocals and am pleased so far with the results.  I’ve dropped out one song, but brought back 2 others from the vault.  These were the most challenging to re-work vocally because I haven’t visited these songs in a long while.  The others are going through minor changes but I’ve noticed I’m touching upon some things I was doing vocally when I first started a few years back.  It’s all coming full circle, and it’s cool.  Can’t wait for the debut 10 songs to be released!

ok, I got a little ahead of myself and re-tracked the vocals, they may not be the final takes but, in my opinion, are better than what was posted before.  I also tweaked the eq/mix overall, check it out.
