It’s an interesting article about differing perceptions about UPLAYA’s Hit Song Science Technology

turns out that vocal changes I made to the song ‘crybaby’ proved to yield better results with Uplaya’s Hit Song scrubbing Technology.

in the next coming weeks…I’ve been resting up (working on drumnjo.com).  I ‘ve had to take a break from even listening to the vecctones, and upon listening back, I realized that I just sounded exhausted and as a result I fell flat on some things.  I’m going to be taking my time with these re-do’s though, I’m finding that my time off both vocally and earwise is helping me to hear things more clearly….no rest for the wicked my ass, I need it.  I’ll be back better and stronger, and give myself all the credit in the world for putting myself out there, vulnerable to be criticized, cut down and mocked…..goes with the territory.

high on yourself, crybaby (new vocals), impressions, flyin and when it rains, have been remixed.   i’ll get to the others very soon.

All but high on yourself, like this and impressions have been re-sang.  I will get to re-singing those three soon.   These tracks are also getting very close to the final masters.

be expecting me to re-do some, if not all, vocals eventually.  I need to take a break, and rest.  I will be redeeming myself soon.

the vecctones recently was awarded 4 Platinum, 1 Gold and 2 Silver Auddy Awards with it’s song scrubbing “hit song science technology”.  They have also given the vecctones an opportunity to be a guest blogger on their website.  check out the blog entry.

Aug 31 deadline for Uplaya – American Songwriter…here I come!

The competetion deadline and their website have helped me through the process of elimination with regards to the songs.

a mix that has the mids boosted to give a bit more warmth and punch.  I re-did the vocals for get my thing, nothin to lose, high on yourself and the blues.  2 more songs will be posted soon…
