Today I re-sang the 4 tunes posted and they are ready for you to check em out.  I think they sound pretty good.  I’ll now be able to focus on the rest of the tracks.

fyi….this blog theme was created by Andrea at http://www.pacquola.org/tomorrow/
Andrea, thanks for the cool theme and helping me fix a little bug I had w/ it.  I can honestly say that it’s the first time I’ve been proactively contacted to fix something without having to contact anyone regarding it!  Nice …lol!  I like your style and professionalism!

I just uploaded some re-takes I sang tonight for the songs posted.  I will be working w/ the vocals and also the overall mix on thru March.

allright, I just re-sang ‘high on yourself’ and posted it.  at this point it’s all just practice…for the final takes which will be done in march

ok well, I’m looking fwd to re-tracking the vocals, again.  The last take, last weekend, was good practice and served to better prepare me for the next takes.  I don’t care if it takes on through March to get it right, once they’re good enough, I get to move onto the next batch of songs!

ok, I got a little ahead of myself and re-tracked the vocals, they may not be the final takes but, in my opinion, are better than what was posted before.  I also tweaked the eq/mix overall, check it out.

I’m getting closer to re-tracking the vocals, which should be done before/during March09.  This new web page thevecctones.com/music enables visitors to listen to the tunes uninterrupted while checking out the blog and clicking on links and things.  Simple enough concept, yet trickier than you think to acheive, without using a detachable pop-up player.
